Welcome to Planetjazz.org. This website has been online since 2004. It was primarily made to support Filipino-American artist, Jasmine Trias. Significantly, the site became a forum for Filipinos and people in various parts of the world who shared the same interest - music, particularly their thoughts and opinions on the show “American Idol.”

For about two years this site has been on hybernation mode. But good news is, the idea of transforming the site into network of blog sites about Filipino artist is slowly turning into a reality. Although the development of this site would be halted for a while, there’ll be some updates on what’s going on in the Philippine Music Industry as well as news and video posts about Filipino musicians abroad. It’s great to hear that there are a lot of young and talented Filipinos who are doing well in the international scene. Hopefully, this would be a great portal to share their music.
